In Champaign, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Illinois, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. It doesn't matter day or night, sunshine, or rain. The women's bathroom smells INSANE ๐คข๐คฎ๐ฉ Update: I've been here 7/8 & 7/9, different days and different times. And I can truly say both days were a HUGE Improvement. No smell and completely clean. I hope this isn't just a temporary fix. Good job to the Road Ranger staff!

Probably the nastiest place I have ever been. The place smells like urine. And they had a guy washing his private parts in the sink. Never going to stop at a road ranger again and neither will any of my drivers. I would put zero star, but Google wonโt let me.

The men washroom had a strong odor of piss and had obviously not be cleaned for quite some time. Long linup at the cash register, seem like 1 person is doing the job that would require 2 to 3 employees. Mcdonalds was ok tho! If i didnt need the truck parking i would not stop here.

I stopped here because I am out of hours and it was the closest place before I ran out. There are about 17 free spots that were full and another 17 paid spots ($18.02) so I ended up in a paid spot. There is a large sign on the building stating that dropped trailers will be towed, but it must not be enforced as there is a dropped trailer on the free side. When I went inside, itโs your typical truck stop. The ladies at the register seemed busy, agitated, and were a little rude, but I wouldnโt say over the top. I purchased an age restricted product and was asked for ID, the lady took it, but on her glasses and studied it for a good two minutes until she was convinced it was legit. I am 49, with a grey Go tee. I read the other comments about the showers so Iโm just gonna stop at Loves in the morning and not explore that. Canโt comment about McDonalds, I didnโt try that, but it was busy, so it canโt be that terrible. UPDATE: So I have read the rest of the semi-recent reviews and as the night goes on I will update. There was a post about the lighting. The lighting is actually installed. There are lights around the parking area. They do not them on at night. The truck parking

Giving a one star review feels generous. Their (assistant) manager, Donna, is extremely rude, hostile, snappy, and less than courteous. Please invest in quality employees or at least offer trainings to better assist those working at Road Ranger. As a longtime customer, I will never utilize this stop again. Donna (older, short Caucasian woman) ran my payment incorrectly before arguing with me and then finally entering my payment correctly. Thank you Donna, for being less than pleasant and argumentative with patrons. Please consider a job that doesnโt involve customer service in the future.
